Vegan? I would say no as NYX say the ingredients may differ and say “may contain carmine” on ingredients list online.

This year, I’m trying to be a lot more creative with my makeup and use more colour rather than the usual browns/golds, like yawn. I follow so many inspiring MUAs on Instagram and Twitter and love their stuff but never felt brave enough to embrace the colour until recently. I’ve been slowly introducing colour into my life and I’ve finally created something I’m in love with, and also got a tonne of compliments on so though I’d post it here!

What I love most about this look is that it uses only one eyeshadow palette which makes things so much easier. The palette looked really scary at first but it’s so versatile and is great to bring whilst travelling too due to it’s small size, and of course how many looks can be created with it.

All products used are listed at the bottom of this post. For the eyes, I started with the bright yellow in the palette which is the last shade, and blended this around my inner corner up to my eyebrow. I then went in with the top right orange eyeshadow and blended this just below the yellow. I added the mustard yellow in between these to add a little more warmth to the bright yellow and to blend the two better.

I then used the red/pink colour in the top left hand corner of the palette and packed this on the first third of my lid and blended it into the other colours. I used concealer to tidy up above the lid so only the yellow shows and comes to the first third of my eye. I also used NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk and blended this in to lighten it up.

Then I went in with the turquoise colour on the outer third of my eye and blended this all across my lower lash line too and brought it outwards. I added eyeliner and mascara, and done! The look took a lot of blended and packing on colour but I love how it turned out!
